CWG Prayer Chain Post: December 17, 2012

The CWG Prayer Chain Post is a weekly post for members to include their special intentions by adding a comment.

Zephaniah 3:14-18

Shout for joy, daughter of Zion, Israel, shout aloud! Rejoice, exult with all your heart, daughter of Jerusalem! Yahweh has repealed your sentence; he has turned your enemy away. Yahweh is king among you, Israel, you have nothing more to fear. When that Day comes, the message for Jerusalem will be: Zion, have no fear, do not let your hands fall limp. Yahweh your God is there with you, the warrior-Saviour. He will rejoice over you with happy song, he will renew you by his love, he will dance with shouts of joy for you, as on a day of festival. I have taken away your misfortune, no longer need you bear the disgrace of it.

The power of prayer and the power of people praying.

Sing a new song to Yahweh! Sing to Yahweh, all the earth!
Sing to Yahweh, bless his name! Proclaim his salvation day after day,
declare his glory among the nations, his marvels to every people!
Great is Yahweh, worthy of all praise, more awesome than any of the gods.
All the gods of the nations are idols! It was Yahweh who made the heavens;
in his presence are splendour and majesty, in his sanctuary power and beauty.
Give to Yahweh, families of nations, give to Yahweh glory and power,
give to Yahweh the glory due to his name! Bring an offering and enter his courts,
adore Yahweh in the splendour of his holiness. Tremble before him, all the earth.
Say among the nations, ‘Yahweh is king.’ The world is set firm, it cannot be moved. He will judge the nations with justice.
Let the heavens rejoice and earth be glad! Let the sea thunder, and all it holds!
Let the countryside exult, and all that is in it, and all the trees of the forest cry out for joy, at Yahweh’s approach, for he is coming, coming to judge the earth; he will judge the world with saving justice, and the nations with constancy.

  1. Ann Seeton says:

    It has been two weeks since my car accident and I am still in a lot of pain, have a lot of deep bruising still showing, my broken rib really hurts, my tailbone really hurts, lactation hurts, and my back keeps cramping and it all hurts.

    I’m offering it up, but would love prayers for my healing.
