The Kiss

Full of passion and desire

…….only to betray.

He took the kiss with fervor,

Stealing breath from the accused

to be used as ultimate declaration of hypocrisy.

Stolen breath exhaled as accusal

“It is he…seize him,

Ave Rabbi!”

Breathe of life morphs into death of soul!

River of Eternity

Red, thick, warm, rolling down drip by drip

Emptied out and spilled for nil it seems.

What a waste of grace?

Temporary illusion poured out on now holy ground,

becomes a river that winds its way through all eternity.

Strength like a tsunami carrying all it touches

touching all it carries.

Flowing its way through history, people, evil as well as good

Endless

Eternal

Omniscient

Begun at first glimmer of creation and continuing without a single pause

to Apocalypse

or to personal death.

……whichever comes first!

Animation of life unseen

Stirring in us inebriation misunderstood.

Now washed in red and become white,

Strengthened, sanctified, forever

through no fault of my own.

River of salvation, Amen!

Incarnation Affirmed.

In the midst of crushing disappointment, screaming terror!

Then Joy.

 Which is it?

 Peace from a ghost?

 Not possible in the senses!

 Pierced hands, feet, bloodless?

 Not a corpse.

 Vital, real

 Invited touch is hungry!

 Fish consumed.

 Minds now cracked open, see.

Body real, needs the same as ours.

Travel vehicle for life on earth.

Our noble incarnation reiterated by His tangible return!
