Welcome back to regular life, conference folks!  Check out the conference photo album posted on the CWG Facebook page.

Several volunteers stepped forward at the conference to help with the CWG blog, and over the next week or so we’ll be catching up on blog to-do items and getting the new folks up to speed.  In the meantime, a bit of post-conference member news .  . .

New CWG Member David Cavillo, author of Real Men Pray the Rosary, writes:

This Thursday, August 15th, is the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. EWTN’s “Life on the Rock” will air a program on that day in which RMPTR and our recently released little book will be featured. We would like to use that important Marian Feast Day and the attention generated from our appearance on that important and popular show to launch a countdown towards the start of a 33 Day period of prayer that will culminate on October 1, the Month of the Rosary.

On August 15th, therefore, we will begin a 14 day countdown to August 29th. On August 29th, we will begin Day 1/33 and so forth until we arrive at October 1st, the Month of the Rosary. Those of us who will undertake the Challenge will draft our friends, family, and contacts, to join us and to continue throughout October and beyond.

For more information, you may direct folks to our website and 33 day Rosary Challenge page: www.33dayRosaryChallenge.com. RMPTR’s Facebook page will also actively promote the 33 Day Challenge and serve as a point for continuing dialogue and discussion as the 33 day period unfolds.

Check it out!
