New Children’s Lenten and Easter Reflections

Ash Wednesday is just around the corner, and Amazon is promoting Sarah Reinhard’s new book, Welcome Risen Jesus: Lent and Easter Reflections for Families (Ligouri, 2012).

Like Reinhard’s other reflection booklet for Advent, Welcome Risen Jesus uses the Think, Pray, Act model to encourage family reflection during specific liturgical seasons. Reinhard bases the reflections on scripture to provide more meaning to the Lenten season for the whole family.

“These exercises are designed to engage your household during the Lenten season by tying Scripture and reflection to your daily life. With each passing Sunday, your family’s faith will grow stronger, and the true meaning of this season will be discovered.”

Welcome Risen Jesus is available at Amazon, Ligouri Publications, and Barnes and Noble, although Sarah asks to first try and find it at your favorite Catholic retailer.

Sarah Reinhard is a Catholic wife, mother, and writer living in Ohio. She writes at SnoringScholar.com in the midst of rural farm life with little ones underfoot. A convert to Catholicism, she’s still learning what to do and when to do it, and she struggles (like so many others) with keeping sight of her faith in the midst of everyday life.
