We’re excited here at the blog to be joining, in our own small way, with the US Catholic Bishop’s Fortnight of Freedom this coming June 21st through July 4th.  To that end I’ve already received a number of submissions of guest posts and recommended links, and I’m busy getting them all lined up.  If you’d like to contribute, please e-mail me at blog @ catholicwritersguild.com by the end of this week — let’s say June 15th.

That gives me time to line everything up all ship-shape, make sure you get the credit you deserve, and still slip away for half-a-fortnight of freedom while kind souls babysit both my children and this blog.  Woohoo!  So put your thinking caps on — we’re looking for any genre – flash fiction, non-fiction, excellent excerpts, quotable quotes, likeable links, arresting art — anything builds on the themes of freedom of religion, liberty, the good ol’ USA, the good ol’ everywhere else worth emulating or worth worrying about — all that stuff.

I can’t wait to see what you come up with!

Jennifer.

UPDATED: Let me emphasize: Please do not leave your submissions or blog business in the combox.  I’ll assume you’re just making conversation for now, not trying to send me work to be posted on the blog later.  If you are ever unsure where to send a piece of blog business or general CWG business, just send it to blog @ catholicwritersguild.com, and I’ll make sure it gets to the right place.  Thanks!
