In an effort to extend our ministry to a variety of writers, CWG will be expanding its criteria for submissions to “Poetry Sunday”.  We will also consider publishing submissions from non-members.  Writing must be in good taste with a focus on the CWG ethic of the renewal of “Catholic Arts and Letters”.   The Poetry Editor’s discretion is final and no fees will be paid for anything published.  Poetry Sunday is the 4th Sunday of the month and all submissions for consideration must be recieved before the Monday of that week.  Send your submissions to:  poetry@catholicwritersguild.com.   During August the Church celebrates: the Transfiguration as well as  the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin.  Do you have any poetry that highlights the idea of being transformed or something that celebrates Mary?  Send  it along and maybe you’ll see your work in “virtual print”.  Blessings, Kathryn Cunningham, Poetry Ed. CWG
