Come, let us cry out with joy to Yahweh, acclaim the rock of our salvation. Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving, acclaim him with music. Come, let us bow low and do reverence; kneel before Yahweh who made us! For he is our God, and we the people of his sheepfold, the flock of his hand. If only you would listen to him today!

AUGUST INTENTION PRAYER
PRAYER FOR ALL NEEDS
We beg you, Lord,
to help and defend us.
Deliver the oppressed.
Pitty the insignificant.
Raise the fall.
Show yourself to the needy.
Heal the sick.
Bring back those of your people who have gone astray.
Feed the hungry.
Lift up the weak.
Take off the prisoners’ chains.
May every nation come to know
that you alone are God,
that Jesus is your Child,
that we are your people, the sheep that pasture.
Amen.

I’m a new member of CWG & found this blog today. My prayer intention is for my daughter, Marie & her husband, Charles: please pray that they are able to conceive a child which they very much would love. They have been married for 6 years and tried many fertility treatments but haven’t given up hoping. I know that prayer is the answer. Thank you!
Let us thank God for CWG and the opportunities to come together this week and share our gifts. May God bring us safely to NJ and back home energized in our faith, friendships and writing projects.
