This month, the Catholic Writers’ Guild is touring Maurice Prater’s book, “Saved by the Alphabet.” It has a Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur from The Most Reverend Peter J. Jugis, J.C.D., Bishop of Charlotte, North Carolina. Can children learn about people in the Bible while learning their ABCs?
Summary:
Saved by the Alphabet is a scriptural alphabet book for children. Children will learn about their Catholic Faith while learning their ABCs because each letter of the alphabet represents an actual person found in Sacred Scripture who plays a role in our history of salvation. Written to be enjoyed by the entire family, Saved by the Alphabet is the perfect companion book to Counting on Faith, a scriptural counting book also available from Divine Providence Press.
Excerpt:
V is for Virgin Mary, the mother of our brother and Savior Jesus Christ, and the mother of all believers.
